FPAC-LINUX pages
FPAC includes a node software and network applications.
The protocole is based on X25 and is fully compatible with ROSE of W2VY and FPAC of
F6DWJ.
The LINUX version of FPAC uses the ROSE kernel developped by G4KLX, modified by F1OAT
and F6FBB.
Some features of FPAC
- Runs under LINUX 2.0.33 and up
- Fully interfaced to the LINUX AX25 kernel
- Loopback for local L3 connections
- Use of M-BIT to manage the L3 segmentation
- Pad to connect directly a destination without connecting the node (pseudo-digipeating)
- Users' white pages through the network to avoid using x121 addresses
- Dedicated facilities to know the callsign/adress of the disconnection origin
- Node software with functionalities similar to the LinuxNode
- Only one configuration file for the whole FPAC system
- Light configuration running on floppy-disk available
- L3 statistics package
